Introspective Exploration

By definition, an explorer is a person who travels an unfamiliar area; an adventurer. Some might say the days of exploration are far-gone.

With detailed Google maps and ubiquitous GPS, it seems like there are few uncharted areas left on planet Earth. Throw on a virtual reality headset and you barely have to leave the comfort of your home to go experience far-off places.

There’s no question that quintessential explorers setting out to sea with nothing but a vague notion of what lies ahead seems far away from our current reality. Perhaps the days of exploring are dead. Or perhaps not…
